Does Intra liquid and Intra Dry Form(Capsules) contain HFCS and any preservatives, potassium, benzoate or sorbate?
Yes Intra liquid contains trace amounts of HFCS (High- fructose glucose corn syrup), Potassium sorbate and Cellulose gum. INTRA CAPSULES DO NOT CONTAIN HFCS, POTASSIUM SORBATE AND CELLULOSE. If you are sensitive to the above substances, we recommend using the dried form – INTRA CAPSULES.
– Potassium sorbate is an artificial preservative. It is effective in acidic foods against molds and yeasts. Studies have not shown negative effects on humans.
-Cellulose gum is not absorbed into the body, it only passes through the digestive tract. Its negative effects on human health have not been confirmed when taken internally, but constipation may occur when consuming a large amount of a product containing it. It is also discussed that it reduces the nutritional value of food.
– People who have fructose intolerance should limit high-fructose foods, such as juices, apples, grapes, watermelon, asparagus, peas and zucchini. Some lower fructose foods — such as bananas, blueberries, strawberries, carrots, avocados, green beans and lettuce — may be tolerated in limited quantities with meals.
– Glucose syrup and corn syrup are naturally derived added sweeteners. Corn syrup can be a type of glucose syrup, but not all glucose syrup is made from corn. Liquid glucose can be derived from many plants, but is typically made from either corn or wheat.
